A nice light red to drink chilled - it's almost like a light Pinot Noir! Powerful but light nose, that trademark terroir smell of his - violets too. Wild flowers, cherries and spice. Chewy tannins, light and fresh. Sour cherries and black mineral rock. Very nice acidity. Restrained and lots of tension. The aromas really open up and become wonderful with some air. Nice grip. Yum.
