Organic Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Gamay, Cabernet Franc. Very short maceration without much extraction – some of the grapes are de-stemmed, then they all see a short carbonic maceration, before élevage for 6 months in old barrels.
A light red to drink chilled. Very bright, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, touch of herbaceousness, plus roses and their stems. Violets linger in the background too. Light and very easy to drink. It’s not a fruit bomb though, it has some complexity to it, with a bit of grip at the end too. Pretty gentle, not too much to think about - although on day 3 I am a bit in awe and really impressed. Drink now, but definitely stash a few...
