2012 VDF 'Terre de Silice'

The nose is so damn good – a mix of pears, yellow apples, white flowers, honey dew, spring air and flint – so mineral! Then, with time in the glass it opens up to smell a bit like Overnoy Chardonnay… Nice delicate lemon drops with honey and apples. The texture is very soft in the mouth. Very elegant and dreamy, with medium acidity and a very, very long finish. A stunning, complex wine that will age as well.
