70/30 Carignan/Grenache, from 70 year old vines. 15 days maceration with little extraction, then remaining ferment and élevage for 7 months in old barrels. Zero SO2.
Black berry, black rock mineral volcano style goodness. Lifted aromatics. Some gas freshness on palate entry. Quite savoury this time. Minerality over fruit. Nice tension and fine tannin grip, great structure. Fresh, chewy, so good for the price.
