40% Carignan, with the rest evenly split between Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. All certified organic fruit. Short, 7 day ,whole bunch maceration. End of fermentation in barrels and short aging of 5 months in same barrels. Only 6 bottles came to Australia.
Berries, earth and a savoury touch – quite a lifted perfume though, lighter in style. Nice tart acidity, black cherries, nice and fresh, with a touch of fine tannin grip. Nice mineral line too. An easy wine, young and simple, but delicious.
