2020 VDF 'les ch'nins on boit et la carvane passe'

Geez this is good! This cuvée always has notes of lime and elderflower, which lifts and makes it quite fresh and elegant. Super flinty and mineral with big schist imprint. It is light on its feet, yet flavourful and long. Lemon, lime, apple and honey droplets coat the palate. There is a mild texture, with plenty of drive thanks to the beautifully clean, mouthwatering acidity. While the label is not super flash, the pun is clever - and it's what's in the bottle that counts. One of the best expressions of Chenin I have tasted this year, hands down.
