A rosé made from Cabernet Franc and Grolleau Gris. Slow direct press, and then aged in tank for 8 months. Not fined or filtered.
Beautiful vibrant peach colour. Smells of peach, strawberry and watermelon, with a savoury herbal edge. Smells great. There is a tiny bit of dissolved CO2 which makes the wine more perky and refreshing. Big energy on the palate. Generous fruit and flavours of strawberry, peach and apple. Medium acidity and tension. Lots of fun and a bit too easy to drink. Very versatile and goes with almost anything.
