2017 Bourgogne Aligoté AOP

Clean and pure aromas, nashis and almonds, and slightly saline too. Taut, but a hint of texture. Not as much acid and tension as the 16, but very fresh, clean and easy to drink. Nice delicate lemon and saline notes, very gentle and extremely pure. Nice tension too – seems to be building. The chalkiness from Bouzeron is there, but only mildly compared to 16. However, the balance is perfect. A really good wine. Now some lemon thyme notes too. Day 2: perfectly fresh and clean still, no issues. So delicious, one of the better examples of Aligoté I’ve tried.
