Chardonnay from 30 year old vines grown on clay and limestone. Direct press, then vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. 10ppm SO2 before bottling.
Clear light colour. Clean nose of white nectarine flesh, with hints of nougat, almond and a little salinity. To taste it is clean and very fresh. Gently ripe orchard fruits take centre stage, fleshing out into an accentuating texture, held together by juicy and balanced acidity. Full mid palate with clear direction, and delicate tension to finish. Very well crafted, this offers extremely pleasurable drinking without any hype or fuss – just quality. You can leave this open for 3-4 days without issue.
