Extremely rare and collectable. Caroline produced only a handful of magnums, and we were lucky to receive some in Australia. These ones are cream of the crop, from her best vintage yet, 2019. You will not get another chance to purchase such an awesome set of wines, let alone in magnum.

2019 Sans Titre

Altesse from Bugey, in the commune of Corbonod. Clay-limestone terroir. Crushed then pressed in a vertical ratchet press, then aged for 9 months in fiber glass vats. Zero SO2. SANS TITRE (UNTITLED in english) for the Highness who does not have her royal title.

2019 La Cuvée des Doudous

Gamay from Bugey, in the commune of Anglefort. The plot is called Tomacette and is made up of clay and limestone soils. Three weeks maceration, then pressed in a vertical ratchet press. Aged in tank for nine months. Not fined or filtered, and no added SO2. 'Doudous' was the nickname of the team who first made this wine.

2019 Le Vin de Tribu

Aligoté from Bugey, in the commune of Leyzieu. The plot is called Tomacette, and is made up of clay and limestone. Crushed and then pressed in a vertical ratchet press, with 9 months ageing in fiberglass vats. Zero SO2. TRIBU or TRIBE - to remind Caroline of the tribe of friends who came to help her.

Sans Titre Clear colour, yellow and luminous. Yellow crisp apples and rocks. Plus pears, lemon and a nice flinty reduction – very fine and minimal – noble. To taste – clean, fresh and pure. Again the acidity is medium minus, making it soft and approachable. Has a certain energy about it. Apple notes, lemon, lime, rocks and nice tension on the finish. The imprint of limestone hovers at the end. Lightly floral, a bit of mineral detail that is like white pepper but not quite – more like grainy rock. Delicate and elegant. 10% alc. * La Cuvée des Doudous Deeper red with light edges. Boysenberry fruit with tamarind notes. Underlying hints of rocks, and a dash of chocolate. Sweet fruit nose – not as deep and expressive as the other reds – but pleasant and enjoyable. Well made. To taste it displays the same notes as the nose, with fresh boysenberry fruit and rocks. Nice density of fruit. Simple, but very tasty. Medium minus acidity, which again makes for easy drinking. Flavour and balance are key. Very tasty, well made. Not overly complex, but very good. Drink chilled. 12% alc. * Le Vin de Tribu Clear colour with yellow edges. Big nose of sweet apples. Still has the mountain freshness about it, and perhaps the limestone influence. Lemon and flowers, feels like a warm sunny day. Clean on the palate, with sweet apple fruit, low-medium acidity. It is vibrant and textural, very smooth and long. Low alcohol makes for easy drinking. There is lemon around the edges, and a zing energy on the finish, with a touch of minerality. This is very pleasant and simple, and super enjoyable. So bright and clean, her wines are wonderful. 11% alc.
