Pinot Noir from plots in Chassey-le-Camp and Santenay. Whole bunch maceration for 13-15 days, then aged in used barrels for a year. Not fined or filtered.
Lifted aromatics of plum, black cherry and baking spices. The palate is light but full, with a fine structure. Red apple skin and dark cherry dominate, with an old-school feel. Good crunch and bright acidity. 2020 is deep and 2021 is light - stylistically this sits somewhere in between the two. Layered with structure and depth and a rocky mineral finish.
