Aligoté from multiple plots in Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, Pommard, Couchois and a new plot in Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. Various mix of clay and limestone soils in all parcels. The 2022 was aged for 7 months - only in tank in 2022, to preserve its freshness. Not fined or filtered. 10ppm SO2 before bottling. 11.5% alc.
Pure clean nose and quite mineral. Fresh like a cool stream over rocks. Extremely bright and energetic on the palate. As pure as it gets. Smooth, light and tasty, with notes of lemon, lime, melon and apple – all quite subtle. Nice texture of sweet fruit which balances the bright, zippy acidity. Long, mouthwatering and outrageously delicious!
