Pinot Noir from a new parcel in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, with clay and limestone soils. Whole bunch maceration for 15 days, then aged in used barrels for a year. Not fined or filtered.
More clarity of fruit here, mixed with lighter notes of violets. Pretty red and black fruits and lifted spices make this rather enticing. Palate is richer, yet lightweight, with an elegant creamy mouthfeel. Good depth and long aftertaste. A great new addition to the range!
