Trousseau from Les Corvées vineyard, with vines aged between 20-45 years old. The soils here are gravel on marl. De-stemmed by hand, then placed in a tank and filled with CO2. Gentle maceration for two weeks in tank. Transferred to old 3,000L foudre and amphora to finish ferment and aged for 12 months. 10mg/l SO2 before bottling.
Lighter colour than 2018. Fruit is younger too. Dried rose petal dust, mixed berries and red apple skin. Perfume purity, pretty and lifted. Sweet fruit on impact, with lifted red fruits throughout the mid palate. Dehydrated berry dust sensation. Lots of substance, detail and charm. Serve slightly chilled.
