This is a rosé pet-nat, made from direct-pressed Gamay. The vines are on black schist and average about 40 years of age. The wine stays on lees for 7 months, and is then disgorged.
The best way to describe this is dry, crisp and refreshing. Subtle floral aromatics, with red and white strawberries and a touch of watermelon rind. On the palate it is direct and linear, with persistent bubbles that form a gentle mousse. Flavours of red berries dominate, along with dry grip and welcoming bitterness on the finish. Perfect for apéro.
