Chardonnay rom 30 year old vines in a lieu-dit called 'Les Bons Ores'. This climat is almost at the northern tip of the appellation, and borders Aloxe-Corton. The vineyard faces east and is made up of clay and various types of limestone. Aged for 11 months on lees in barrels with an average age of 3 years.
Almond meal, bread, salt, white nectarine and quince. Beautiful and creamy, yet focused texture of peach, honey, and deftly handled oak. Bright with lots of stuffing, delivered in a linear and focused fashion. Extremely elegant and well put together – I love this, and it feels like 1er Cru quality.
