100% Grenache from 70-year old vines from sandy granite soils in Argelès-sur-mer. 21 days carbonic maceration, pressed, then aged in old 500L and 600L barrels for 9 months. Bottled by gravity.
Extremely expressive and complex nose - this wine is so lifted - wild herbs, wild berries and violets jump out of the glass. Later on you notice saucisson and cured meats. The palate is fresh and juicy, with berry and licquorice notes, followed by that granite minerality. What a wine!
