Gamay, sourced from two different plots in Couchois. One is sandy, one is clay and limestone. Aged in old barrels for 6 months. Zero SO2.
Electric pink colour with peach tinges. Clean and quite mineral on the nose initially, before it opens up with notes of strawberries and cream, peaches and nectarines. To taste it is super smooth and easy. The flavour profile is in line with the aromatics. Good tension, medium acidity and gentle texture. Clean and delicious. Juicy peach and nectarine fruit. Yum!
