Chardonnay from their family vineyards in Savigny-Lès-Beaune. Vines are 25 years old, grown on chalk and clay. Aged in old barrels for 6 months. Not fined or filtered. 10ppm SO2 added before bottling.
Pale, with notes of lemon, lime, apple, and unripe stone fruits. Very light and lean on the palate initially, before the fruit starts to shine. Lighter mid palate this year, but with brightness and high acidity. Chalky and with great tension. Clean, linear and refreshing. Perfect for summer!
