2015 AOC Champagne 'Les Puits'

So subtle. Faint strawberry whispers, delicate florals, strawberry shortcake, delicate salts, raspberry leaf. Tiny, tiny bubbles. I love the sensation of this, and its feather stroke light energy. The acidity is high and adds drive. Lots of strawberry and tart raspberry goodness on the palate. The zingy energy tingles for ages. The fruit really comes forward with air. Little chalky detail too. Essence of crushed strawberry granita. White strawberries. Faint hint of pears. So crisp and fresh. Icy lemon drops, sherbet saline. A hint of red apple. The purity here is astounding and this is just so pristine. And again I feel like I’m drinking the universe and the bubbles are the stars. Strange feeling, but amazing. Meditation wine. Silence and peace and understanding. No loud brashness. Just purity and essence. An experience.
