100% Carignan, from vines aged between 25 – 115 years old, on sandy loam soils in Saint André. Destemmed and macerated for 3 weeks in a conical tank. Pressed then aged for 10 months in a wooden conical tank. Bottled by gravity.
Note: Drink this wine within 4 hours - otherwise mouse starts to creep in. Other than that, it's a beautiful wine. Very soft and dreamy – the scents are very relaxing. A bit of earth and underneath – purple flowers, black rock, plums and cocoa dust. Gentle. Sweet fruit, delicious old vine Carignan! Very fine sandy tannins. Pretty smooth, very complex, with very nice acidity.
