2023 AOP Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru

Pinot Noir from 65 year old vines in a lieu-dit called 'Les Fournières'. The vineyard is almost in the centre of the appellation, next to the village. It is east facing and is made up of clay and limestone soils. These grapes are 100% de-stemmed, and then macerate for 16 days. Aged in barrels (25% new) for 11 months before being racked to tank to settle. Not fined or filtered.
