2022 AOP Bouzeron

Chapuis et Chapuis

Regular price $75 750ml Sale

Bouzeron is in the Côte Chalonnaise, and this is where Aligoté really shines. The lieu-dit is in the southern part of the appellation and is called 'Les Loueres' which is made up of clay and limestone soils, and faces east. The vines are about 10 years old on average. The wine is aged in barrels with an average age of 5 years, for 10 months on lees.

Rich, creamy and lactic nose with quality barrel influence. Cashew cream and salt. Classy. Voluptuous palate, with plenty of rich stone fruit notes, hints of honey and apple pie. Great richness and length, with harmonious acidity. Round and sweet fruited, while remaining fresh.
