From certified organic vines aged between 50-70 years old, yielding 25hl/ha. Carbonic maceration for 7 days in fiber-glass vats, then aged in concrete vats. Bottled in March 2017 with 10mg/L SO2 at bottling.
Pretty nose like a burgundy, full of roses, with some nice baking spice components underneath. Subtle hint of VA, but integrated well like in good Barolo, which gives it a pleasant lift. Quite complex and evolving aromas. The palate is very smooth, with a creamy texture that is still light. Clean, very easy to drink. Slight raw meat aromas. Medium acidity, well integrated tannins, and some minerality on the finish. This is a really good example of Beaujolais-villages! Serve chilled.
