Gamay from vines aged between 12-40 years, grown on clay and limestone. Cold carbonic maceration for 12 days, then aged for only a month in tank. 10ppm SO2. This wine is made for Beaujolais Nouveau - however, with extra bottle time the wine has evolved into something much more tasty!
This is pure glou glou, perfect for pouring - and keeping everyone happy! Amazing colour, very light and enticing. Super light. Smells of red berries, and roses. Very lifted aromats. Simple, but pleasing. Some savoury notes in background. Fresh, sweet fruit, soft in the mouth with lovely texture. Gentle tart acidity, with notes of pomegranate. Creamy in the mouth with sweet fruit and acid lift. Highly quaffable. Gentle tannins on finish. Simple but really good.
