Such an expressive nose, as is always the case with Bruno's AK400. Big time boysenberries and blueberries, which I love. Some spice too. It's such a pleasure to smell this wine, and you'll find the aromas really evolve and open up nicely with some air. It has that texture that lingers, and when you swallow it feels good - it's a digestible wine, devoid of any harsh edges. There is plenty of fine grip and interest, and very nice long line of acidity. The flavours also evolve to some tart cherry and chocolate later on. God that perfume is en pointe! I love how it's very juicy, but has that tension and detailed complexity to make it extra special – and then the acidity… and then the tannins. Whoop whoop! Serve slightly chilled.
