2017 AOC Beaujolais-Villages
From certified organic vines aged between 50-70 years old, yielding 25hl/ha. Carbonic maceration for 7 days in fiber-glass vats, then aged in concrete vats. Bottled in April 2018 with 10mg/L SO2 at bottling.
Dark mineral nose, with wild dark berries and hints of cured meats. Smooth texture, lots of berries and minerals. Nice layers, very fine tannin. A bit of liquorice and granite start to show themselves with air. Tannins linger. Packed with flavour and tasting really good at the moment. Serve chilled.
