2016 VDF 'Érèbe'
Certified biodynamic. A blend of 70% Côt and 30% Cabernet Franc, co-macerated for 26 days. Then left in old demi muids for two years, and bottled in November 2018. Zero SO2.
The first thing you notice here is the aromas - this is really expressive. Wild berries with prominent notes of blueberries. A hint of baking spice and some chocolate. It smells delicious! But then it takes you up a level when you taste. Lots of energy, and it has that texture that you can only find in natural wines with no sulfites. It's alive in your mouth, super fresh and juicy. It's so yummy - it's a feel good wine that is so easy to drink. I love the liveliness here, really outstanding.
