Gamay from exceptional plot with south-east exposure. The vines which are 70 years old, were planted by  Raphaël’s Grandfather. It's an incredible site with an amazing view. The soils here are made up of clay and limestone. Whole bunch cold carbonic maceration for 18 days, then aged in concrete vats for 8 months. 10ppm SO2 before bottling.

Crimson rose red. Smells of roses more than fruit. Maybe a touch of blackberry. A little hint of stem, to give more detail. Super smooth to drink, with a lovely mouthfeel. Much more depth than La Galoche - a nice mix of berry fruit with a savoury twist. Quite mineral too. Very fine, well integrated tannins. Fresh and creamy, long and layered. Nice tart finish as well. Drink now type wine/vintage. Blueberries come in later on. Love this wine, superb. Drink slightly chilled.
