Gamay from 25 year old vines grown on clay and limestone. Direct press, then vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks for 4 months. 15ppm SO2 before bottling.
Electric pink colour, with a darker tinge at the edges. Clean nose. Pleasant smell of strawberry, apples and roses. Clean to taste. Dry, straight and linear. Displays flavours of strawberries, raspberries and peaches. Medium plus acidity lifts it, and it finishes with gentle tension. Very easy to drink, with great fruit profile. Simple and easy but extremely well made - and excellent value. And this wine also stays stable for 3 to 4 days if you don't want to drink it all at once.
