Gamay from 40 year old vines grown on clay and limestone. 15 days cold carbonic maceration, then aged in concrete tanks for 6 months. 10ppm SO2 before bottling.
Light colour. Very nice perfume of red apple skins and cherries. Fresh and lively in the mouth, with flavours of cherries and strawberries. Sweet youthful fruit, linear delivery and good freshness thanks to the acidity. A little savoury on the finish with a pleasant bitterness, which adds another dimension. A simple and delicious light red - drink slightly chilled. Stable, will stay open for a few days.
