2020 VDF 'L’Esprit Libre'

Noble reduction, yet clean underneath. Clear fruit – apples, lemons, limes, white flowers, fresh bread, stony vibes. That winter cool morning frosty feeling. Frosty, tingly sensation on entry. Very fresh at the front, before broadening out and expanding across the palate. It is plush and gastronomic, yet the freshness remains. Almost Burgundian in style. Powerful, yet bright. The flavours are the same as the aromas, with a dash of honey and sweet nashi pears. A beautiful wine.
