100% Chenin Blanc. During harvest, the team usually visits each parcel 2-3 times (sometimes up to 5 times) to pick grapes at different levels of maturity. For Fragile, they choose grapes from select parcels with younger vines. The grapes are sorted by in the vineyard and then again back at the winery, where they select only the most golden grapes. Aged in used barrels for 12 months. Not fined or filtered.
Subtle notes of lime, apple and rocks. Schist and cool cellar. Softer palate than 21. Super tasty and very approachable already. Well made as always, and a crowd pleaser in the sense that no matter where you are on your wine journey, you will love it. Bright full flavours of yellow apple, hints of lime zest, and nectarine. Mild texture with lots of extract and medium acidity. Smooth sailing.
