100% Chenin Blanc, from young vines grown on schist. 30% aged in tank and 70% aged in used barrels for 6 months. 20mg SO2 before bottling. Not fined or filtered. 12.3% alc.
This is a beautiful light, fresh and summery expression of Chenin. Perfect for those hot days. Smells of fresh limes, schist, elderflower, and purified lemon essence. In the mouth it is bright with clean fruit and high, but soft acidity. Smooth and supple in the mouth. Lots of mineral tension on the finish, and clear and concise acidity. Crazy delicious and amazing value.
