100% Chenin Blanc, from the first harvest of all of their plots. Aged in old barrels for 6 months. 20mg SO2 before bottling.
Really nice glossy yellow colour. Smells of fresh limes, schist and elderflower. Almost a sweet lemon smell too. Really lovely texture – packed but weightless. Bright, with sweet fruit and high, but soft acidity. Soft and smooth in the mouth. Tension building, schist! Freshly sliced apples and frosty when cold. Fresh and summery rather than rich.
