100% Côt, from young vines that are around 15 years old, grown on clay with limestone subsoils. Short 6 day maceration, then transferred to old barrels to age for 10 months. Not fined or filtered. Zero added SO2.
Inky colour with explosive aromas. Lots of wild blackberries and shrub, blueberries and boysenberries. The perfume is amazing on this wine! To taste it is juicy and full of flavour, and has so much freshness, especially for the variety. Lots of minerality in the background, with very fine tannins on the finish. The full and pronounced flavours are bold, but the drinkability is huge thanks to the refreshing acidity. Vibrancy central! 12.5% alc.
