50% Grenache, 50% Grenache Gris – from 70 year-old vines on granite soils in Saint-André. 15 day carbonic maceration, pressed, then matured in old barriques for 5 months. Racked and bottled by gravity.
How good are French wines with red and white grapes! The perfume here is so good and extremely expressive. Quite light in colour, transparent at the rims. Lifted aromatics of cinnamon, clove, wild raspberries and exotic spice. It's pretty and slightly wild and rugged at the same time. Light and easy to drink, with nice minerality and very fine tannins. Super smashable and delicious, and quite unique. Serve this one chilled like a white wine.
