A new parcel of Chenin that they planted in 2020, just to the east of the village of Rablay. The lieu-dit is called La Barangerie. The site is atypical, as it is completely isolated, and the soil here has much more eroded clay and schist. Aged in 20hl foudre for 12 months, and then settled in tank for 3 months before bottling. Unfined, unfiltered.
The youngest vineyard in the range already shows remarkable promise. Pure, linear and effortlessly drinkable, with citrus, crisp green apple and a beautifully chalky mineral backbone. Fresh, vibrant and impeccably clean.
